This has of course bought on a warning light which was expected and according to VCDS is 2 The DPF needs cleaning because there is stuff that doesn't get burned like metals from engine wear that are in the engine oil and the additives in the oil. VW's 507.00 oil is very low ash which helps extend the life of the DPF, I don't know how the additive packs are different from other low ash oils though.
